Care Animal Hospital in Temecula, CA is looking to add an associate veterinarian to take our practice to the next level.  Our hospital motto is “Exceptional Care for the Ones You Love”. Our commitment to our patients and clients is a constant testimony to our reputation in the Inland Valley.  We see all types of animals, including dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds, reptiles, and even wildlife!

Our AAHA accredited hospital has positive, experienced support staff, and excellent clientele.  We are well-equipped including ultrasound, endoscope, digital radiography, digital dental x-ray, and complete in-house laboratory.  We are fully equipped for our patients and the care for birds, exotics and wildlife including the use of incubators, nebulizers, oxygen, electrosurgery and specialized instrumentation. We are the only practice in our inland valley that cares for exotic pets and works with Project Wildlife in San Diego.

Our competitive benefit package includes.

  • Wage: Pro-sal, base annual wage starting at $170k-$250k. Production at 20%-22%.
  • $20,000 sign on/relocation bonus
  • Paid CE, up to $2000 paid annually
  • Paid Time Off: 4 weeks per year, depending on schedule
  • $500 paid monthly towards health insurance premium
  • Paid DEA, license, AVMA dues, CVMA or SCVMA membership

Our ideal candidate would be comfortable in soft-tissue surgery, have dental experience and be willing and open to pursue other avenues of veterinary medicine to add to the practice.  We offer a flexible schedule, and we work within the doctor’s availability, with no requirements to come in “after hours.” We are looking for the right person with the personal touch to communicate with our clients and our team members. We also have a supportive leadership team to help keep our practice running smoothly and efficiently.

We are looking for an experienced veterinarian, but if you are a new graduate with an interest in exotics, we encourage you to apply.  The forte of Care Animal Hospital is mentoring and training in all aspects of small animal veterinary medicine, surgery, dentistry, and exotic animal care.  We have mentored four new graduates, and we offer mentorship tailored specifically to you and your needs!
