Crescenta Cañada Pet Hospital in La Crescenta is looking for an experienced practice manager.  We are looking for someone who has at least 3-5 years of veterinary practice management experience, CVPM is plus! We would prefer a candidate who has a bachelor’s degree (one in business is preferred).  We are a 7-doctor practice with a great team.  We have wonderful clients, and we provide excellent patient care.  We believe in supporting our team members and we are looking for a strong manager to lead our hospital.  We have 6 RVT’s on our team and value training and education.

Our full-time practice manager is eligible for the following benefits:

  • Minimum annual salary $75,000 DOE

The practice manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the practice.  Our ideal candidate will be a good communicator and be a good leader.  They will be able to provide coaching and guidance to our team members.  They will have the ability to make decisions, delegate responsibility and achieve results for the hospital.   

Duties include, but are not limited to,

  • Human Resources/Personnel Management
  • Hiring and training new team members
  • Oversee client A/R
  • Monitor and boost team morale through education, coaching, counseling
  • Knowledge of Labor Law, DEA regulations, VMA regulations, Safety, & OSHA compliance
  • Processing payroll and coordinate employee benefits
  • Help increase practice revenue & business
