Rebecca Fox, CVPM, CCFP, is the Hospital Manager at VEG ER for Pets in Winter Park, in the Orlando, Florida area, where she leads operations for a high-volume, 24/7 emergency hospital and a team of more than 100 veterinary professionals.

Beckie built her career in veterinary medicine from the front desk to practice leadership, giving her a unique perspective on the challenges faced at every level of a veterinary team. She is known for successfully scaling veterinary practices, driving rapid growth in patient volume while building the teams, systems, and operational infrastructure needed to support that growth. Her experience spans general practice and emergency medicine, with particular strengths in operational performance, leadership development, team engagement, and client experience.

A Certified Veterinary Practice Manager and Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional, Beckie is passionate about developing strong veterinary leaders and creating healthy, high-performing workplace cultures. She is a VHMA JumpStart mentor, a leadership coach for VEG’s Leadership Apprentice Program, and a speaker on topics including employee well-being, performance management, de novo hospital operations, and client experience.

Before entering veterinary leadership, Beckie was a professional rock drummer—a background that still shapes the way she leads. A great drummer doesn’t need to be the loudest person on stage; they listen, anticipate changes, give and take cues, know when to drive and when to pull back, and provide the steady backbone that allows everyone else to perform at their best and keep the vision moving forward.
